Hi Vince - Thanks for pointing it out - it wasnt forgotten or missed out - Jon, the technophobe, didnt know how to add lines to the table so ran out of space to put up results. I have now added August results to the resourses page and September will now be on the Members Results page. A very nice start to September which im sure will carrry on for us. Good luck, Sally.

Hi Paul - A very good, if slightly uncomfortable to answer, question. The system has had 3 losing months in a row however if you have been following the daily updates on the Members News page you will have read the advice, given on many occassions, to try betting only on selections that have a course SP of 4/1 or under as we have never had a losing month at those odds. That was until August - however the loss was slight compared to laying all qualifying selections at any price. Since selling the system prices on our selections have become very high - we had never had a day where all selections went off at over 4/1 until about 6 weeks ago now its not unusual. We think its manual system users trying to get a good price and laying too early which makes a horse that would probably have gone to favourite and woudlnt have been in the system a lay, which gives the lay an exagerated SP as its been manically layed 3 or 4, even 5 minutes too early.

The new system has been used by Jon for just over a year. We are never going to sell it as a manual system (for reasons given earlier) and it is too complicated to bot but Jon has decided that, as he is doing it for himself most days, it would be just as easy to have a 'managed' bot service where he would be laying exactly the same selections as he does for himself. He doesnt lay anything over 7/2 and i think the average SP is 13/8 - thats off the top of my head and i'll be able to give an exact price in a day or two when ive gone over his bets more thoroughly.

We are still testing the bot and wont be trialling until we are sure the bot is working - of course that doesnt mean there wont be any problems with it which is what the trial will be for, along with the chance for prospective users to see exactly what it can do.

Hope that reassures you and thanks for asking, Sally.

NB - anyone who wishes to help out with trials please email LBStrial@thebetbank.co.uk - thanks.

Sally/Jon
As you may/not be aware I joined your service in June after you advertised months of relentless profit.....since I joined and started betting ,the system has lost every month, June,July and heavily in August.....
I know you are trialling a new bot (in fact Ive volunteered to help) but why are you placing a lot of confidence in the bot just because it has been profitable on paper for a few months?.....your existing, double lay system had been profitable for much longer and has still ended up losing me a lot of money.

Hi Frans

Thank you for taking to time to comment on this subject. I cannot really add anything more than i have already said in previous emails to you. You are happy that the system works as you have been using it for a couple of months and as i have often advised you - we know you are right in what you are saying but when we first spotted the system we were advised to report in course SP as this was verifiable. It is only relatively recently that we have been able to check results in BFSP. All buyers of the system know before hand that the system is reported using Course SP and not BFSP, we are not trying to hide anything or con anyone. I have always presumed prospective purchasers make a quick mental adjustment to allow for this. You yourself probably did.

At first we were concerned about reporting using course SP and considered using the price Jon got when laying in running but we realised that A) he would never be able to have a day off, and B) it wasnt verifiable. We probably get a fairer result using course SP as when doing the system manually one can lay in running and 90% of the time you can very easily get course SP or lower. If you have been using Betfair or an exchange for a while you develope a knack of knowing what a horse is likely to go down to in running - or indeed if it wont -or even if it is going to win and can back your way out of the bet. Therefore because Jon normally gets a lower price than the course SP we felt that by reporting with course SP the profit was almost as good as the actaul profit you can make if you lay in running.

However we do intend to report in BFSP alongside course SP when we have time to go back over results but, as im sure you can imagine the time needed to do so is immense. We would be very happy for yourself or anyone who reads this to go over results and add BFSP to the calculations. We would need at least the last 12 months results and would readily report using your data. best regards, Sally.

24th July - I find it disingenuous that you are still claiming to be in profit for July. As you know I have been following this system for a while now and you CAN NOT produce a LAY SYSTEM based on backing SPs, whether people told you this originally or not. It is plain false reporting and deception to your customers. As I have explained, you can not Lay at the prices you quote for losers, only back them - you need to use LAY SPs as provided by one of the exchanges if you want to provide an honest view of profit/loss for your system. This has nothing to do with laying in racing etc.. which can of course add to profits. What we are talking about is the pure £100/race results.
